Examples on our set list are used as an illustration of the broad range of the repertoire and not the total extent of the music we can draw on. As you will see these are all cover versions however, they are covers which are there for a reason.
We have spent hours on each song ensuring that the musical and vocal arrangements are just right. Each arrangement is geared towards maintaining the momentum of a lively and enthusiastic dance-floor. The care and attention we invest in each song is evident and allows us to relax and enjoy the experience along with our audience.
All the music we play will be instantly familiar and are tried and tested floor-fillers. This is not to say that we would not consider any specific musical requests on the night. However, in our experience this leads us into the more specialised area of one individual's musical taste. This can, on occasion, be at odds with the expectations of the majority of your guests, with whom we have will have been building a rapport all evening.
Simply put - leave the song selection to us ! We have provided a list of suitable first dances. These, traditionally in Scottish weddings, provide fantastic photograph and video opportunities as the happy couple slowly make their way around the dance floor. When planning your wedding please feel free to select one from our attached list, or indeed one of similar standing which may have a special significance to both of you. With sufficient notice we can rehearse and deliver your choice, provided that the song lends itself to a live version.
We will also play a selection of traditional ceilidh music, if required, which will add to the enjoyment of any Scottish function.
